Class Passes

  • Can my class passes be used for the outdoor, indoor, and the online classes?

    Yes, absolutely! 1 pass = 1 class

  • Do I have to use all of my class passes in one month?

    No. You have 90 days to use your passes from the purchase date. When you attend a class, the oldest class pass on record will be deducted first.

  • How will I know how many class passes I have remaining?

    Visit your account dashboard to see your current class pass balance.

    When you arrive for an outdoor classes or join an online class, I will take note of your attendance. 1 class pass will be deducted from your available balance within 24 hours of attendance.

  • Can I transfer or share my class passes with someone else?

    Sorry, no transfers or sharing passes with others.

Payments

  • Do you see, or store, my credit card number?

    No. Our payment processor, Stripe, handles all transaction details.

    Stripe may present you the opportunity to save a payment method for future use. This is completely optional and is stored by Stripe; never by Because Fitness LLC or our Internet service providers.

  • Will my credit card be charged automatically when I run out of class passes?

    No. Your credit card will only be charged when you choose to purchase more class passes.

  • Will I receive a receipt for my purchase?

    Yes. A receipt will be emailed to you within a few minutes of purchase.

  • Do you offer refunds?

    All sales are final.

Outdoor Classes

  • Do I need to register each time I want to attend an outdoor bootcamp class?

    No. You do not need to register for any individual classes. You only need to create and verify your account and purchase at least one class pass.

  • What should I wear?

    Please wear comfortable, athletic clothing and supportive sneakers. No open-toed shoes or bare feet.

    You may also want to have a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen ready as the venue offers minimal shade.

    Dress in layers for those colder days.

  • Do I need to wear a mask?

    Fully vaccinated participants do not need to wear a mask. Please refer to our COVID‑19 guidelines for more information.

  • What should I bring to the outdoor classes?

    Exercise mat, water and towel.

  • Where do I park for the outdoor bootcamp classes?

    When attending class at the Lower Providence Fire Company, please park on the side of the building farthest from E. Mt. Kirk Avenue. As you are facing the building, park in the right-hand side lot.

  • Where are the outdoor classes held?

    Classes are held in the rear parking lot of the Lower Providence Fire Department.

  • Is there a public restroom or changing area on premises?

    There are no public restrooms or changing areas for use at the Lower Providence Fire Company.

    There are several businesses nearby that have facilities.

  • How and when will I be notified if an outdoor class is cancelled or rescheduled?

    If rain is forecast or it is too hot for class to be held outdoors, the class session will be run online through Zoom at the designated time. Please check the website or the Because Fitness Facebook page for updates. Time or venue changes will be posted to the class listings no later than 2 hours before the originally scheduled start time.

  • Will Bootcamp be offered every Thursday night and Saturday morning throughout Spring, Summer and Fall?

    Class formats, days and times may change as I consider your feedback and gauge participation and interest. If something changes, I will notify everyone well in advance!

Indoor Classes (PA|DA)

  • Where do I park?

    Parking is available to the right-hand side of the building near Franco's. Additional parking is behind the building.

  • Which doors do I use to enter and exit the building?

    Use the main front doors to enter and you will exit out the back doors.

  • What should I wear?

    Comfortable exercise clothing, and clean and dry sneakers.

  • What equipment do I need to bring?

    Yoga or exercise mat. Sweat towel.

  • Do I need to wear a mask?

    Fully vaccinated participants do not need to wear a mask. Please refer to our COVID‑19 guidelines for more information.

  • What equipment will be provided for class?

    Mini loop bands, flat bands and Bender balls. If you have an allergy to latex, please let me know as some resistance bands contain latex.

  • When should I arrive for class?

    Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class time. Class begins promptly.

  • Are food and sports drinks allowed in the studio?

    No, absolutely not. Only water bottles are permitted. No food, coffee, sports drinks, or gum is allowed in the rooms.

Online Classes

  • Do I need to register each time I want to attend an online class?

    You do not need to register for any individual classes. You only need to create and verify your account and purchase at least one class pass.

  • Where do I find the Zoom link for class?

    Please log in to your account then visit the class listings for the Zoom link.

  • When should I log in for a Zoom class?

    You may log in up to 5 minutes before the class start time. Class begins promptly.

    The room closes to new attendees 5 minutes after the scheduled start time.

  • Do I need to enable my camera and microphone?

    Your use of a camera and audio are optional. I like to see your video stream during class so I can keep an eye on form and offer modifications and encouragement.

    During class, all participant audio will be muted. Feel free to unmute and chat during the cooldown period at the end of class.

  • What should I wear?

    Wear comfortable sneakers and workout clothing.

  • How and when will I be notified if an online class is cancelled or rescheduled?

    Please check the website or the Because Fitness Facebook page for updates. Changes will be posted no later than 2 hours before the originally scheduled start time.
